Willow the German Shepherd

Willow is an intelligent, energetic, beautiful German Shepherd located in Vancouver, BC, and she is looking for her forever home.

Willow was found as a stray in November of 2023, and spent the next few months at a local animal shelter. She was going to be euthanized, until she was rescued by a couple who fell in love with her while volunteering at the shelter. Since then, they've been working independently to find Willow a great home.

Willow is approximately 1.5 years old, 65 lbs, and has been spayed. She has been to the vet, and has no health problems. She is a happy, healthy dog.

Since being rescued, Willow has been living at Argo's Pet Ranch in Surrey, BC, where she has become a favourite among the staff and trainers. Willow has received some fantastic training from the expert trainers at Argo's, and has made tremendous progress overcoming some behavioural challenges that developed during her time in the shelter. Willow needs a home where her new family will be committed to continuing her training, and the staff at Argo's would love to continue working with her and her future owners.

Willow is an energetic young dog who needs owners and an environment that can keep up. She loves going for long walks, playing fetch, going to the beach, and cuddling up on the couch for ear scratches and belly rubs. Willow's new family should preferably have experience with German Shepherds or other similar breeds. She will do best in a home with a fenced in backyard where she can spend her time running, sniffing, and being a dog. Willow will do best in a home without any other pets or young children.
